The Essential 1GB Memory Stick!

You’d be using a 1gb memory stick or better if you had the chance to download those homebrew psp games from the web to your hard drive. Then, you can load them right up onto your PSP.

However, even easier to store and transport your games on a 1gb memory stick. Not to mention the fact that having a backup of your discs is always a good idea, just in case the unthinkable happens. Who likes losing their ability to play games when they’re right in the middle of a particularly good spot in the game and maybe about to score some treasure.

So, rather than rely on what the maker of the game includes in their package, get a 1gb memory stick for your psp and be a smart and prepared gamer. PSPs tend to only come with a 32MB card, so a 1GB memory stick is plenty of space. Along with game data you could also be storing videos on your 1GB memory stick, which will keep you from running out of space on your PSP.

So aim to get the 1gb memory stick and just figure that you might only need 256 mb to do the deed. Printed usb sticks

Then turn to the internet and search for homebrew PSP games. What this means is that there are customized games, made by programmers, that mimic consoles like Megadrive, Nintendo, SuperNintendo and others.

But before you go about downloading a ton of great homebrew games make sure you pay attention to the file’s extension. If the file doesn’t end in .psp stay away from it.

The reason the file needs to be a .psp file is because that is the extension that the PSP reads. Also, you will need to have Firmware 1.5 or under for these particular games to work.

You need the correct combination of settings in order to play homebrew games on your PSP. The next thing you’ll want to do is hook your PSP up to your computer via a USB cable.
